Merry Christmas and Contest Results

Merry Christmas to all of you from Charlie and Chris
***************
The Mystery Object Contest is officially over and it is time to reveal the identity of the mystery object and the winner. The object was an apple/peach parer. This particular parer was made by the Sinclair Scott Compay of Baltimore, c. 1880's.
We had five of you with the correct guess. The winner of those five was Dodi Slaughter, who wins the message board below. It is a chalkboard framed with old tongue and groove flooring. Congratulations Dodi and thanks to all of you who participated in the contest. We'll have another mystery object contest in January. So stay tuned!

For those last minute purchases, here is reading material that your hard-to-buy-for person would enjoy.

We've come across several cookbooks lately. Here are a few.

For those magazine lovers, we have a lot of Life Magazines including the first issue which is pictured here. We also have quite a few Saturday Evening Posts. All interesting reading.
