End of February, Mystery Item and Collectibles

OK, it is still February (one day left) and technically Winter, but... hey, we're in the South. Isn't this cold weather supposed to be over? We've had so many of what I call "Spring Teaser Days", that I was sure we were almost there. Oh well, Spring will be here soon! I can't wait to get shots of the signs of spring such as emerging flowers and buds bursting open.
You know I'll have to share if I get some good ones.

The last picture of February's Mystery Item is posted on the sidebar. Good luck!
I have three and only three correct guesses so far.

This week's blog features more items from our dealers. Check out the sidebar for those.
We are also featuring collectibles. The picture below is for our military collectors - a vintage gas mask. After that is a pin that although unmarked, has the look of some Hattie Carnegie pieces. The drum looks to be either bone or bakelite. Following the pin is an example of pressed glass (of which we have quite a bit) and then paper weights. Browse and enjoy.
$10

Monkey with Drum Pin - $35

Early American Prescut (EAPC) Decanter - $10
We have a lot of pressed glass pieces.

The following features some of the beautiful paper weights we have here. We have them from art glass to souvenir weights. Prices vary.

Sale a Success and Back to Normal

Whew, the Warehouse Consignment Estate Sale is over and was quite a success. Charlie and I want to thank all of you that came and we hope you are happy with your finds. In fact, we know that we'll be doing another estate sale in a few months. We'll keep you posted. For now though, we're back to normal.

The eclipse last night was amazing. I really don't have the right camera for a lunar shot but after several tries, I was able to get one picture that wasn't completely blurry. The second picture is from our yard this week. I woke up, looked out the window and saw these guys grazing. We see deer fairly often but I've never seen any with antlers. I had to take the pictures from inside and through the window screen so it really isn't that good but I still had to share. The deer in the foreground with the scar only has one antler. I would love to know his story.

Now, back to business............
After the nature shots, I've pictured several items we have in the shop. We sold several (and I mean several) pieces of the Prelude sterling at the sale and this is what we have left. If you need to fill out your set, come by and see us.

And finally...............
The third picture of this month's mystery item is on the sidebar. Figured it out yet? We've had one correct guess so far. Make sure you scroll down to see what the other dealers in the shop are offering. They really have quite a variety of wonderful antiques and collectibles.
